My sculpture and ‘re-collage’ are a brew of personal stories and research into the wilfully ignored. These explorations share otherwise forgotten stories within small towns and neighbourhoods within Scotland. Outside their familiar context, he invites reflection upon the media available within, created by and pushed upon these communities.
Bryden (b. 1982 Irvine, Scotland) lives and works in London. Having received no formal education, he discovered the outlet of contemporary art through publicly accessible collections.
